Quartz is Perfect for kitchen worktops. Quartz is a man made material with over 90% granite and quartz material mixed with resin and pigments to create a non-porous, hard wearing surface. Its texture does not allow bacteria to grow and resists against stains, protecting your family and making kitchen clean-up easy. For this reason, quartz is the ideal material for kitchen worktops.

Limestone is great for flooring, wall cladding and outdoor area's . It is a sedimentary rock composed primarily of calcium carbonate. It most commonly forms in clear, warm, shallow marine waters from the accumulation of shell, coral, and algal debris which sometimes leaves fossils. Limestone is often used for construction and in architecture. It is used for facing stone, floor tiles, stair treads, window sills, and many other purposes.

Granite is good for kitchen worktops Table tops Floor and wall cladding. It is a natural rock that is cut in its natural state and is then polished for use in homes. Its is a naturally strong material that is hard to scratch. Granite can offer a natural and unique pattern and colour. Maintenance after each use is suggested to prevent staining with granite. To clean granite, use warm water and soap to help keep its shine.

Quartzite is good for most applications. It is a hard, non-foliated metamorphic rock which was originally pure quartz sandstone. Sandstone is converted into quartzite through heating and pressure usually related to tectonic compression within orogenic belts.

Quartzite is harder and more stain resistant than granite with the beauty of marble.

Marble is great for flooring wall cladding and bathrooms. Marble is a metamorphic rock, which begins life as limestone, it has been physically and chemically transformed over time due to intense heat and pressure. Marble comes in many beautiful colours and patterns which makes every slab unique.

Marble is not as hard and dense as other stones making it porous so it can be prone to stains.

Slate is a fine-grained, foliated, homogeneous metamorphic rock derived from an original shale-type sedimentary rock composed of clay or volcanic ash. Slate has good thermal resistance making it a good material for hearths, although it does scratch easily.
